PILGRIMAGE TO GREECE & TURKEY:
Give yourself the gift of a spiritual experience for Christmas. Our pilgrimage – Walking in St. Paul’s Footsteps – in Greece and Turkey just became unexpectedly better. The cruise portion of our trip, originally scheduled for 3 days has been extended to 4 days at the same base price of $2399. The land portion of the trip visits cities whose names you hear in readings at Mass – Corinth, Thessalonica, Athens, and Philippi, among others. The cruise portion includes a fourth day with stops at Mykonos, Ephesus, Patmos, Crete, and the island of Rhodes. This 12-day pilgrimage will leave on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 and return on Saturday, March 24, 2012. The last date to give yourself this spiritual gift is Sunday, December 18. DECORATIONS-THE SACRED HEART CEMETERY:
Wreaths are the preferred decoration; they should be tied to the monument. If you wish to use a grave spray, be sure that it is placed against the monument and tied to it. Do not use Grave Blankets that span the entire length of the grave. Above all, do not use metal stakes to fasten the decorations to the ground. Vigil lights should be removed for the winter months. Breakage can result from the freeze-thaw action. The cemetery is not responsible for vigil lights for any reason.
